Identity & Website
Actors' Shakespeare Project (ASP) was doing groundbreaking work within the Shakespeare world, and needed their identity and website to help communicate not only their strength on stage, but in the community as well. The logo is comprised of many little dots creating the asp/“S” shape in the logo representing the many facets to come together in their community.

Wordmark & Business Cards
As a collector of vintage modern furniture and interior design consultant (not to mention a fellow graphic designer) Jennifer was eager to have a card that was distinctive and reflected her simplistic and beautiful aesthetic.
The result was a card based on tactility and elegance utilizing mixed materials of ebony veneer, super gloss, wallpaper, and rubber for the backs of the cards, each foil stamped with her newly designed wordmark.
Many thanks to the fine fellows at Em Letterpress for even considering this printing feat!
When Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishers contacted us to work on the Fifth Edition of the American Heritage Dictionary we were thrilled. We had done numerous project with them over the years, but working on the Dictionary was the bees knees. In our research we discovered that the American Heritage Dictionary was the first to use color. We decided to exploit the images of American signage and totems to the page's edges to help the reader find the beginning of each section more easily.
Viewbook & Website
The Cambridge School of Weston, a progressive high school near Boston, sought a viewbook that captured their pedantic rigor and arts-learning philosophy. After exploring the school we were deeply impressed by its unapologetic individuality which radiated through their faculty and students—each bright, confident and spirited—it became clear that the story needed to be told by the CSW community. The viewbook, titled by the campus jargon MODS WAR FATE & CSW An Insiders' Guide to The Cambridge School of Weston, is layered with student quotes, lists, notes, photography, artwork, even varying haikus in each of the footers. The hardest part was trying to accommodate all of the exciting elements.
When designing the website, everyone wanted to keep the hand done approach that gave the viewbook it's clean-collaged look. We worked closely with the design and programming team at Whipple Hill throughout the design process to learn how to achieve code-based elements within the very flexible Podium, a CMS for schools.

Viewbook & Annual Report
The Lesley Ellis School sought to reinvigorate their image with a view book that is as dynamic and colorful as the school itself. The design system established for the viewbook has since been implemented in the rest of the school’s communications materials. One example of this is their 2013 Annual Report.
